I’m a virgin blogger, so I thought a good “first time” would be to create a travel blog for our trip to Alaska, so that’s what you’re reading now! Richard just purchased oodles (a technical term) of gigabytes of photo storage for our two cameras, as well as spare batteries, so we’re well equipped for documenting our adventures. I’m bringing my trusty laptop and we’re spending a lot of time on the Alaskan ferry, so I’m assuming I’ll have time for blogging in between actually living the adventure and breathing in the beauty. I’m hoping they have Wi Fi…come to think of it. Oh well. It will be what it will be!

We’re leaving Lexington for Seattle on June 21st, spending nine days with our daughter Cassandra and family, and then boarding the Alaskan ferry on July 1st at Bellingham, Washington. See you then!
